Share a link

Every published document has a public link. Anyone with the link can open it — no account, no download, no plugin.

Open the document from your dashboard. Under Share & embed you’ll find the public link, a copy button, and a QR code you can download as PNG, JPG or SVG for print.

A share link is public by default. Anyone who has it can open it, so treat it as you would any unlisted URL. You can tighten that:

  • Password — readers must enter a password before the document opens (Solo and above)
  • Email gate — readers give an email address first, and you collect the leads (Solo and above)
  • Hide — takes the document off its public link without unpublishing it
  • Scheduling — set a date to publish, and a date to stop

See Password and email gate for how those two work, and Scheduling and replacing for the dates.

No. The public link is minted once when you first publish, from a random token, and it never changes — even if you rename the document. Anything you’ve already sent keeps working.

If you replace the PDF with a new version, the link stays the same and the new version simply appears at it.

Embed on your website if you’d rather host it in your own pages.
