Scheduling

Every document can carry two dates:

• Publish at — the document goes live on its own, so you can prepare something in advance and let it appear on the day
• Unpublish at — it comes off its public link automatically, for a price list or an offer with an end date

Both are set from the document’s page in your dashboard, and either can be used without the other. Scheduled changes are applied every minute, so a document goes live within a minute of the time you set rather than exactly on the second.

A scheduled publish uses a slot

If your plan caps published documents, a document scheduled to publish counts against that cap from the moment you schedule it — not from the moment it goes live. That way a scheduled publish can’t fail at the last minute because you’ve published something else in the meantime.

Replacing the PDF

You can upload a new version of a document at any time. The link doesn’t change. Every share link, embed and QR code you’ve already handed out keeps working and starts showing the new version.

This is the main reason to send a Living Page link rather than an attachment: correcting a mistake doesn’t mean re-sending anything.

Scheduled replacement

You can also stage a replacement — upload the new PDF now and set a date for it to take over. The current version stays live until then, and the swap happens with no gap where the link is broken or shows a half-rendered document.

Useful for a price list that changes at midnight on the 1st, or a brochure that shouldn’t show next season’s range until the season starts.

What doesn’t change

Renaming a document doesn’t change its link either. The URL is minted once when you first publish and is independent of the title. If you move a document between clients or rename a client, the old address keeps resolving too.
