Send large files (Transfers)
Transfers sends files that are too big to email — a video cut, a photography set, a print-ready PDF — from a page wearing your brand or your client’s, to someone who does not need an account.
What you get
Section titled “What you get”| Agency | Agency Pro | |
|---|---|---|
| Per transfer | 10 GB | 25 GB |
| Storage at any one time | 250 GB | 500 GB |
| Files per transfer | 5 | 5 |
| Link expiry | 1–14 days, your choice | 1–14 days |
| Email recipients | Up to 20 per transfer | Up to 20 |
The storage figure is a live ceiling, not a monthly allowance. Expired transfers hand their space back, so it is a rolling window rather than a quota you can use up and be stuck with.
The five-file limit is a count, not a size. A .zip is one file, so if you need to send more
than five things, zip them — the real limit is the per-transfer size above.
Sending
Section titled “Sending”- Go to Transfers in the sidebar and choose New transfer.
- Pick whether it goes out as your agency or as one of your clients. That choice decides whose logo and colours the download page wears.
- Drag your files in.
- Add a title and an optional message once the first file is in.
- Choose who gets it — email addresses, a share link, or both. A link is always created, whether or not you email anyone; the email just carries that same link.
- Send transfer.
Protecting a transfer
Section titled “Protecting a transfer”All optional, and all changeable after you have sent it.
- Password — recipients enter it before they see anything, including the file names. Send it separately from the link; putting both in the same email protects nothing.
- Ask for an email — recipients give an address before downloading, and you see who collected.
- Download limit — no limit, once for the whole link, or once per person. “Once per person” only distinguishes people when the email gate is on, since that is what provides the identity.
- Link expiry — anywhere from one day to fourteen.
You can change any of these on a transfer that is already out, from its page in Transfers. Removing a password takes effect immediately; anyone who has already unlocked the link stays unlocked.
After it is sent
Section titled “After it is sent”You are emailed and notified the first time a transfer is collected, with the collector’s address if the email gate was on. The transfer’s page shows what was sent, who it went to, who has downloaded it and how long is left.
Recall deletes the files immediately and stops the link working. It is not a hide — the objects are gone.
What your recipient sees
Section titled “What your recipient sees”A page in your brand or your client’s — logo, colours, your name — with the files, their sizes and how long they have. They click and download. No account, no app, nothing to install.
The download page never carries Living Page’s branding on Agency plans. That is the point of it.
When files are deleted
Section titled “When files are deleted”At the expiry you chose, up to fourteen days. After that the files are removed from storage, the link stops working, and the transfer’s record stays in your list marked as expired so you can see what you sent and when.
Recalling a transfer deletes the files there and then, without waiting for expiry.
If you receive a transfer you were not expecting
Section titled “If you receive a transfer you were not expecting”Every transfer page and email carries a link to report it. See Report abuse.
