UTM campaign reports

When readers open a flipbook through a link carrying UTM parameters, Living Page records the campaign, source and medium against that open. On the Agency plan and up, those roll up into a Campaigns (UTM) section in your document analytics.

Open a document and scroll to Reader analytics. Below the devices, countries and referrers breakdowns you’ll see Campaigns (UTM) with three lists:

  • Source — where the traffic came from (e.g. newsletter, linkedin).
  • Medium — the channel type (e.g. email, social, cpc).
  • Campaign — the specific campaign (e.g. spring-catalog).

Click any value to filter the whole report by it. Every metric above — views, unique visitors, average read time, read depth, devices and countries — re-scopes to that campaign, source or medium, so you can answer questions like “how far did people from the spring newsletter actually read?”.

Active filters show as chips at the top of the section; click a chip (or Clear filter) to remove it. The breakdown lists always show every value, so they double as the menu you filter from.

On Agency Pro, the Export CSV button includes the UTM source, medium and campaign breakdowns alongside the rest of the report, so you can hand a client a full campaign summary.

  • Reporting starts from when the feature went live. There’s no backfill — opens are only counted from the point UTM capture was enabled, and analytics data is retained for roughly 90 days.
  • Values are normalised the same way the link builder formats them, so Spring Sale and spring-sale count as the same campaign rather than splitting your data.
  • Only opens through a tagged link are attributed. Untagged opens still count towards your total views; they simply don’t appear under a campaign.
